Are there any restrictions on where you will travel to?

We are based in the Kelowna/Vernon area but if you are based in BC, we will make sure to find a way to you, no matter what. We also service the rest of North America on request.  Keep in mind that surcharges may apply depending on your location. You can find our rates and travel surcharges on our Rates page.

What is included in a typical session with Trick Switch?

Our sessions generally include 2 coaches for the duration of the lesson, depending on the lesson needs. We cover all aspects of wake sports including Wakeboarding, Wakesurfing, Wake foiling and water skiing. We will conduct an assessment of each individual rider to determine skill level and ability before constructing a custom lesson plan within each session. Our sessions don't stop there. We are all about safety, knowledge and service. We supply advice on boat purchasing, set up and basic maintenance. You will receive advice on driving techniques for various disciplines, as well as tips on boating etiquette. Anything boating and watersports, we have you covered.

Do you have a boat we can rent?

Unfortunately, at this point in time, we only offer a private coaching service for boat owners. We do not have a boat to rent. If you are looking for a rental service, we can facilitate rentals with a third party. Standard TrickSwitch rates will apply if we accompany you on the rental vessel.

How many people can we bring?

As many as your boat is licensed to carry, including the coaches of course. Our rates are not based on passenger or student numbers so bring as many as you would like.

Can I combine more than one program in the one session?

Yes! We would prefer this in most cases. During our sessions, you will receive two coaches. This allows us to coach driving techniques to drivers and watersports to riders at the same time. You'll get to witness first hand how we manage our vessels rider's safety in a professional setting.

What is your cancellation policy?

Due to demand, we require 48 hours for all cancellations. We operate in all conditions as long as it is safe to do so. Therefore, weather must be extreme for us to cancel such lessons. Full payments will be retained for lessons cancelled within this 48 hour period. We will always do our best to accommodate cancellations under extenuating circumstances so it's always best to discuss these with our team.
