The program combines structured online course materials, in-depth questionnaires, and curated video content to build a strong foundation in coaching theory, lesson structure, rider progression, safety, and communication. Course Material
The online course material in Trick Switch – Pro Coach is designed to support learning between live video sessions and help coaches stay focused and prepared. Participants gain access to structured textbook-style chapters covering key coaching concepts, lesson structure, rider progression, safety, and professional standards, serving as an ongoing reference resource.
The introductory and full program also includes questionnaires and reflection exercises to encourage critical thinking and self-assessment, helping coaches identify strengths and areas for improvement to discuss during calls with Sim.
Personal Video Calls
The one-on-one video calls with Sim Davis are a core part of the Trick Switch – Pro Coach experience, providing direct access to over 40 years of industry knowledge and real-world coaching expertise. These personalised sessions allow Sim to expand on the course material, break down complex concepts, and tailor guidance specifically to your coaching goals and current experience level.
Throughout the full program, Sim offers ongoing support to help you navigate your coaching journey with confidence. He works closely with you to troubleshoot instructional challenges, refine lesson delivery, and improve communication with riders of all abilities. Beyond on-water coaching skills, Sim also helps you develop greater professionalism within the industry, covering areas such as presentation, client interaction, and long-term career development, ensuring you grow not just as a coach, but as a respected professional.
